These interfaces can be used to easily connect headsets, extension modules and other peripheral devices.The integration of the green IT standard 802.3az shows the importance of sustainability for innovaphone's development department. innovaphone is one of the first manufacturers on the market to integrate this "Energy Efficient Ethernet" standard in its devices. The idea behind this standard is that it enables ports to need power only when data is really being transmitted. The ports are in idle mode when no data is being transmitted. Therefore, power consumption can be reduced drastically with the innovaphone phone IP232.
